2015 US OPEN Fantasy Golf Advice Early Edition
Let’s get started
early with some US Open Fantasy Golf coverage, and try to get an idea of who we
will want to target. There are a few guys who have had great U.S. Open past
results like Ernie Els, and Tiger Woods, and both have been
playing good golf in April and May of 2015. Ernie Els won the US Open in 1994,
and then won it again in 1997. He’s an interesting fantasy pick, because he’s
won here and he has looked healthy, and strong in result tournaments, shooting
some good scores. Tiger Woods is playing well, and it's most likely only a
matter of time before he looks like the old Tiger. He's only been back from his
"injury" absence for about a month, and he performed well at the 2015
Masters, and also made the cut at the 2015 Players Championship. Here's some of Tiger's career achievements including U.S. Open achievements. Retief
Goosen won the U.S. Open in 2001 AND 2004, but I'm much less enthusiastic
about his potential to win the US Open in 2015. Goosen played well in a couple
of tournaments this year but I have serious questions about how stable his game
is at this point in his life.
Tom Watson has 11 top 10's and 16 top 25's in the US Open. At this point his game is iffy, and If he does play in the 2015 US Open, he would be a huge longshot because of his recent play. Whether he play or not, It is a very impressive and noteworthy US Open history stat.
At the U.S. Open Tiger Woods shot a low score of 272 back in 2000. His low round that year was 65, a great US Open round of golf. Jim Furyk is a another guy who has shot really low at the US Open, he also shot a 272 in 2003 with two rounds of 67, a round of 72, and a low round of 66. It's important to get low rounds in fantasy golf, and these stats are key. I can guarantee you I will be taking a long look at both Jim Furyk and Tiger Woods when it's time to make US Open draftkings lineups.
Here are the Bovada Odds To Win The 2015 US Open. Rory Mcilroy is the betting favorite, followed by Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods. Oddsshark is another website that provides PGA betting odds. Again, these odds can be very useful when choosing your fantasy golf lineup. I noticed Patrick Reed getting a lot of respect to win the US Open on both PGA odds sites, and I'll be watching his golf play leading up to the 2015 U.S. Open.
